Shots Practise
Shots
During this task, we went around school to take different shots and get used to knowing what they are and experiencing them for ourselves. This helped my group to learn and remember more of what the shots are and how they differ.
Close Up - These shots are usually used to show an emotion or enhance a feeling of a scene. The close up of shoes is an example of this kind of shot.
Wide Shot - These are like establishing shots, it shows a shot from a distance that could be a new set or new scene, introducing something new.
Tilt shot - These shots are usually done to show speed or also show an eerie mood in a scene. I have shown this shot in one of our corridors.
Long shot - Like a wide shot, it may show the full body of someone in the long shot.
