Kuleshov

Kuleshov Task

The Kuleshov task was designed for us to try the Kuleshov experiment where they cut up footage to see how the audience would respond depending on the different sequences of footage. This demonstrated how context was important, as we can see in my example, the actor was smiling at sweets which makes him seem innocent and in another shot, he was smiling at a child falling over which can make him come across as a different person than if he was smiling at sweets.
